We instructed Mike to try to get a competitive quote after receiving a hefty figure from a separate firm. Mike was able to fit us in at short notice for an initial review of the work, provided a much more reasonable quote the same day, and attend to carry out the repair immediately on receipt of the part required the following day. Mike carried out the work required, explained the process and gave some advice on operating the system in general which was well received. We will definitely be using Cross Plumbing for our servicing and plumbing needs moving forward.

Mike fixed some leaking radiator valves but then gave us a lesson on our heating system, fixed the pressure drop in the boiler and raised the temperature setting of our hot water and generally sorted us out – all without making us feel foolish for not knowing enough ourselves. An excellent operator with a great attitude and manner, who goes the extra mile because he knows it makes all the difference for repeat business and building client trust.

Mike did a great job for us after another plumber had let us down. He completed various works for us (boiler and hot water tank commissioning, mag filter installation, water hammer arrestor installation, auto stop cock shut off installation, UFH repair amongst others). Mike’s problem solving skills are excellent. He helped us track down and resolve a worrying knocking noise at minimum cost. We would have no concern in recommending Mike!

We engaged Mike to replace the taps in our main bathroom for both the sink and main bath/shower which we bought separately. He also investigated a potential leak in our ensuite shower.
